Cafe Hugo in Lindau

Very rude and arrogant. We wanted to pay 2 espressos with a card and were then burdened with unnecessary wisdom.

The service's recommendation was plum cake (very good), coffee and apple strudel were average. Outside area in the old town very nice to sit!

we didn't feel welcome. Waiter tried to sell us something that we didn't want and the prices for mediocre machine coffee are clearly too high. the 2nd star is for the toilets.

Very friendly service, with daily recommendation. Everything was delicious, we were served quickly and advised very friendly. Gladly again ☺️

We were here on September 22nd, 2020 and treated ourselves to an ice cream. I can't say how good the coffee or the cake tastes, I can't recommend the ice cream here. The spaghetti ice cream didn't look like spaghetti ice cream, but rather like a scoop of vanilla ice cream mashed together without love. So ice cream is definitely not recommended here. In addition, the waiter really wanted to serve us coffee and cake.

Super breakfast with very fair prices and perfect service. The self-baked breakfast croissants are Bella Italia in the mouth.

We sat for 15 minutes and weren't even asked what we would like. Everyone else around us who came later was served. Then we just left. So you don't make any money and you get more customers.

At first you were welcomed in a friendly way and then you sat for almost 20 minutes and only saw the waitress running to the guests who had died. Maybe it was also because we sat down at a table with our little dog. You don't know, maybe such guests are not welcome ... Then we got up and left. Fortunately, there are enough cafes that are just as good.

A beautifully located café with a great atmosphere and very tasty cappuccino and ice cream. The employees were also very friendly and courteous. We will definitely be happy to visit Café Hugo again when we are back in Lindau. - Many thanks!

The waitress recommended a yogurt mug with strawberries from Lake Constance, after we were amazed that it costs 9.20 € per mug, we got an answer that it would be at least 1 € more expensive directly at the lake .... Tourist prices or not, but this pricing doesn't fit !! The ordered spaghetti ice cream was the most expensive with the smallest portion compared to ice cream parlors in Meersburg and Friedrichshafen.

Great to sit outside! There is a nice manageable map. The waiters are really super friendly too! And the ice cream tastes phenomenal - there is nothing to complain about!

The café is very stylish and modern. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable having breakfast. The croissants taste good. The pretzels were rather dry in taste and therefore disappointing.

The cappuccino is good, altough expensive. They have lots of seating inside, and a smaller number of outside seats. They are a bit pushy with their sweets though (which are delicious, but still), so gather your strongest will if don't feel like one.

Nice place with a good location. Ideal for a breakfast after a morning walk. Waiters were super kind.

Extremely rude staff, asking the country of origin when we asked to replace the coffee as they gave us the wrong one.

I took two takeaway croissants twice and paid 2 € each, in my opinion a little expensive for a thawed product. Kind staff
